Overview
Glitched is a gaming and LAN festival in Jonkoping, Sweden, and Glitched Crew supports the people who make it happen.
Glitched Crew is not just a website - it is a platform that brings together an ecosystem of volunteer-built apps.
Together, these apps cover specific functions that crew and staff rely on both before and during the festival.
Managing applications and related admin is a core part of that picture, but the platform is meant to support how crew actually works across the whole lifecycle, not only the application stage.
Why we built it
At the very first event, crew application management relied heavily on Google Sheets. It worked, but it was time-consuming and difficult to scale.
We saw an opportunity to build a more solid ecosystem that improves the experience for everyone involved: applicants, team leaders, admin staff, and crew on site.
How we built it
We gathered input from experienced Glitched staff and team leaders, many of whom have worked as crew for years.
That feedback shaped the features and flows across these apps, with one clear goal: make it smoother, clearer, and less manual for crew and staff to get things done both before and during the festival.
